What does the Lodge have to offer?
The Wasatch Mountain Club Lodge was built by club members in 1929 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The lodge sits on national forest land adjacent to the Brighton Ski Resort at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon.
It is a rustic two story log cabin with large living area downstairs and sleeping quarters in two rooms upstairs.
The main downstairs room comes complete with hardwood floors, a fireplace and vintage furniture.
Folding chairs and tables are available for your gathering and this room can accommodate up to but not exceeding 100 seated people (check Fire Dept. limitations).
A full kitchen is available off the main room.
The lodge bathrooms are equipped with flush toilets and hot showers.
From the kitchen you can access the large outdoor patio, complete with multi-station barbeque grill and picnic tables.
The covered front porch also accesses the patio directly from the living room.
The upstairs sleeping quarters contain 16 single beds and two double beds.
