day hike fool peak - April 1, 2007
For this year's observation of April Fools Day, the annual hike to Fool Peak will be done by the route on the north side. This 9717-foot peak northeast of Delta has an east facing cliff and a rounded backside which resembles Notch Peak. Snowshoes will probably be necessary. Plan to have food, water, the 10 E's, money for car pool transportation, and snowshoes. Call Tom Walsh (487-1336) to register.
