canoe boating jordan river, utah lake to willow park - August 4, 2007
Easy, pretty flatwater trip starting at Utah Lake. We will take out at Willow Park. We will shuttle before getting on the river and leave our coolers in the cars to picnic after we take out. Check back here for detailed directions. Great trip for beginners. Directions: Take Exit 279 off I-15. Go west towards Lehi. At the traffic circle, go half way around to continue on Main Street. Turn left at about 1.7 miles onto Saratoga Road. Continue on Saratoga Road 2.5 miles. You will cross over the river and shortly arrive at Inlet Park. Go to the second entrance to the park.
