We'll be traveling to the northeastern reef, in the area of Tidwell Draw and Cottonwood Wash. You can expect arches and natural bridges and bizarre pinnacles and chert arrowheads and slot canyons and acres of bare slickrock slabs. Plan on a couple of exploratory day hikes each day, with route-finding, scrambling (with possible minor exposure) and perhaps a little wading.
