lodge work party - June 28, 2008
Saturday, June 28th will be the occasion for two club events at the lodge. There will be a work party starting at 9:00AM through the day and then a party for Carol Masheter and her achievement in the evening. If you have not heard by now, Carol has been in training the past few years and recently reached the summit of Mt. Everest last month on May 22nd. We would like to offer the opportunity for Carol to share with us in the program her pictures and stories of this magnificent event. Happy hour will start about 5:00PM. Please come up and give us a hand with maintenance on the lodge before the party. There are showers, so you can cleanup before the social event at the end of the day. We will be starting the project for this summer which will be painting of the exterior. The first few work party will deal with scraping, stripping, caulking, preparation and eventually priming and painting. This task will be the project for this summer.
