canoe boating evening paddle on the jordan river - July 1, 2009

The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the WMC Liability Waiver, online registration is required for all in person WMC events.
From I-15 take 12300 Exit. Go West to light at 1300 West/Temple Drive. (By this time 12300 South has become 12600 South.) Turn right and go north to 12400 South. Turn right (east) onto 12400 South to the end of the road at a park on the River. If you haven't paddled the Jordan before, you are in for a surprise at how delightful it is. The river is running high, so some paddling experience required for this week. Call if weather is questionable. Canoes and all kinds of kayaks welcome.
