car camp hike wind river mountains - July 24, 2009
go for a car camp in 'big country'. visit the headwaters of the gren river. camp will be at green river lakes campground. a day hike along the highline and clear creek trails to a natural bridge. on the same hike you'll see green river lakes, square top mountain, clear creek falls, slide creek falls, and clear creek natural bridge. all of that in 4 miles each way with just 300 ft elevation gain.
