day hike flat top peak - exploratory - October 3, 2009

The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the WMC Liability Waiver, online registration is required for all in person WMC events.
Join a hike to the tallest peak in the Oquirrh Range at 10,620 feet and one of Utah's 8 ultra prominence peaks. I have not personally summited this peak, but I am familiar with the Oquirrh Range and the route. The route will travel a rough 4WD road as far as is accessible. There is no trail to the top and the hike will require routefinding and bushwacking. We will also summit Lewiston peak on the route. Registration required. Limit of 6
