service hike - red pine lake area, little cottonwood canyon - July 10, 2010
The tentative plan is that we will work with the Forest Service Wilderness Rangers at the Red Pine Lake area. The work will likely involve wilderness campsite restoration and campsite inventories. This work will not be as rigorous compared to trail maintenance. However the hike to the work site will be longer than what we normally do for trail work. The event will occupy most of the day. As always, please wear sturdy boots and long pants. Please bring water, rain gear, work gloves, and lunch. Please note that we will meet at the Little Cottonwood Canyon Park and Ride. We plan to depart around 0815.
