rock climb - goatland/clamshell - August 18, 2011

Nicely bolted limestone at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Short, steep approach trail and amazing views make this high-elevation climbing wall rather nice in the middle of summer. Helmets really strongly recommended due to loose rock on the tops of the cliffs. Bolted routes from 5.8 to 5.11+; bolts nicely spaced for leaders at the grade. Bring your steep game, as everything is overhung!
