rock climb - goatland/clamshell - August 4, 2011
Come up to the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon for some steep, well-bolted limestone climbing. Depending on the topo you look at, the area is known as Goatland or Clamshell. Helmets are REALLY, REALLY recommended as the wall has a lot of loose rock at the top, and goats will kick it off. Bring your quickdraws and steep game; routes from 5.8 to 5.11+. Some climbers are meeting at the LCC park'n'ride at 5:15pm to carpool to the climbs.
