snowshoe: avalanche rescue practice - February 26, 2011
Spend a couple of hours with fellow snowshoers practicing avalanche rescue scenarios. We will practice using transceivers and a probe line. We will also take time to talk as a group to learn from one another about what works well and what we could do better. This is not a class, but an opportunity to practice and learn from one another. Vicky Ashby has volunteered to organize this activity and you need to call or email her to register. If you would like to help her organize, please let her know.
