kayak/canoe the jordan river - altzheimer park - July 13, 2011
We will be putting in at Altzheimer Park and taking out at 1700 North Redwood. To reach Altzheimer Park, from 900 West turn west. Just before you cross over the bridge for the Jordan, turn right, then left at the T and follow the road around the bend. This is the section with the chute through the dam at the power company just south of North Temple. Other than the chute, which is easy to run, the stretch is all flat water. Call me if the weather is questionable.
