weber county hike - waterfall canyon - July 17, 2011

This short hike includes a rugged scramble over steep, rocky terrain, yet it has long been one of Ogden's most popular hikes thanks to the 200-foot waterfall at the upper end of the canyon. Depending on water level, we may get wet feet. (My guidebook calls this a moderate hike, but I think it's slightly less so by club standards.) Early meeting time to beat the heat.
