road bike - heber to woodland for weekend warriors - August 5, 2012
Let's copy most of Gene Thibeault's July 27th ride, from the River Road near Midway to Woodland and the Kamas Valley. We'll from along River Road up the Hwy 32 hill and regroup at the Jordanelle overlook. Then proceed toward Francis on to Old River Road toward Woodland. At Bench Creek Rd we'll do a quick loop and then back the way we came, unless the group votes for a coffee / snack stop in Kamas. To get to the meeting place, take Hwy 40 past the Jordanelle Dam, then take a right at the first stop light, River Road. Go about 1/4 mile and the parking lot is on your left. Note: leader will meet at River Road.
