snowshoe - western uintas, norway flats road - January 29, 2012
This is an opportunity to visit the west part of the Uintas. The trail climbs through pine forest stands and offers great views of the Provo River drainages and parts of the Wasatch to the west. A good destination for this NTD event is a view point about 3 miles from the trail head (about a 1000 foot elevation gain). Please bring the 10 essentials and snow safety equipment. It is about a 1 hour drive to the trail head. There is a Mirror Lake Highway fee of $ 6.00 per car.
