hiking trail maintenance - national trails day update - June 2, 2012
A great opportunity to work with other groups and agencies to support our trail system. The project will continue construction of the new Bonneville Shoreline trail section near the Mount Olympus trail. Registration is required through the Public Lands Information Center (PLIC). This can be accomplished by (1) email - plic@xmission.com (2) telephone - 801-466-6411 (3) in person face to face- Public Lands Information Center REI store, Salt Lake City 3285 East 3300 South Salt Lake City, UT 84109 The plan is to have the participants meet at the 6200 South & Wasatch Park and Ride at 7:30 AM. Shuttles will transport participants to the Mount Olympus trailhead. Following the event , the shuttles will return the participants to the Park and Ride. There will be no parking at the Mount Olympus trail head. The PLIC will email this information to you along with the registration form. Again, you need to contact the PLIC to register for the event.
