nordic ski tour - multi day tour in yellowstone national park - March 10, 2012
I am interested in organizing a 4-5 day nordic ski tour to Yellowstone National Park. Trip details are not locked in, but at this point I mainly want to see if there are some other folks interested in going. There are plenty of good route options to choose from, both on the packed roads or heading out into the backcountry. Daily mileage would depend on what sort of surface we were travelling on, but would probably be around 7-15+ miles per day. This is near the end of the snowcoach/snowmobile touring season up there so traffic on the roads should be pretty light.
