road bike: hurricane - st george - March 2, 2012
We'll head south to the warmer weather in the Hurricane-St George area for a 3-day weekend of bike riding and fun. You can camp or stay in a motel. For camping, we'll stay at Sand Hollow State Park about 10 miles from Hurricane. Hurricane has some good motels for those who prefer that option. There are lots of ride options from about 25 to 60 miles or so. We can do a Sand Hollow loop, ride one or more of the routes between Hurricane and St George, do the St George-Veyo-Snow Canyon loop, ride to Zion National Park or even ride up to Hilldale and Colorado City to see how polygamists live.
