multi-sport weekend morning road bike: antelope island to garr ranch - October 6, 2012

Join us for a day or a weekend of multiple activities. Come to the island for one activity, or plan your weekend to try them all!!! If you would like a semi-serious road ride, join Diane Rosenberg for a great morning ride on Antelope Island. She plans to ride across the causeway from the park entrance, around the north end of the island and down the east side to Garr Ranch and back. Bring water, snacks and a lunch, as there are no services on the ride. If you finish before 1:00pm, you can join one of the afternoon activities, too, like paddling, hiking, or mountain biking. You'll probably be done in time, but if it looks like you won't, you can always turn around a little early. Whatever you do, be sure to catch the social starting around 3:30pm. Food will be ready about 4:00. Bring money for the park entrance fee ($9 per vehicle, $6 seniors, $3 cyclists and pedestrians) or a park pass if you have one.
