road bike: midway - wallsburg - heber loop - August 16, 2013
Join Mary Settle today for a fairly flat (maybe a few tiny exceptions) and very lovely ride you're sure to enjoy. We will start at the fisherman access parking area just west of the Jct of Hwy 40 and River road, ride to Midway, up Soldier Hollow, then on Hwy 189 alongside Deer Creek reservoir until the turn to Wallsburg. We'll ride to Wallsburg and explore its scenic rural areas, head back toward Heber, take a jaunt through Daniels and across Hwy 40 up toward Red Ledges. From there, we'll ride Center Street through Heber and on to Midway for a lunch stop at Tarahamara. From there, it is a short, easy ride back to our cars.
