alpine ski tour - at, snowboard or telemark - February 28, 2013
THURS. BACKCOUNTRY SKI TOUR: weekly MOD (moderate) ski tours. Destination generally in Big or Little Cottonwoods Canyons and dependent on weather and snow conditions. Start at 9:00 A.M. This is not a beginner ski tour and requires good conditioning, skiing skills and familiarity with your equipment. To participate you must have a beacon, shovel, probe and the knowledge of how to use them. Call or e-mail Rick by 7:00PM on WED. evening, for the meeting place. Group limited to 8. If you are new to BC skiing, please call to discuss whether you have the experience and are prepared for the tour.
