nordic ski tour millcreek canyon ski trail - January 19, 2013
Skiing up the Millcreek Canyon Road beyond the gate at Maple Grove. The trail gets groomed. Nice forest scenery. If we ski up to the Big Water Parking lot, plan on about 3-4 hours. Energetic dogs are welcome. This is a popular place for winter recreation. Be aware that it can be crowded with people and dogs for the first 1.5 miles. Lets plan to meet at 0830 for a 0845 departure. If conditions are icy, I suggest putting on hiking boots (spikes) and walk up the road.
