wilderness volunteers hiking trail maintenance in the la sals - July 21, 2013
Explore the cool Manti-La Sal Mountains near Moab July 21-27 up and away from the summer heat while involved in a Wilderness Volunteers service project to restore trails in the central La Sal range. We'll set up camp for the week at the Warner Lake campsite and fan out to work on the nexus of trails that originate from that area. Nearby peaks top out in around 12,000', so come prepared for some free day hiking with unbelievable views...and don't forget your camera!
