hike lone peak from alpine - July 27, 2013
The Alpine approach to Lone Peak takes you to the less-visited south peak. The route is just as long and steep as the northern summit, but there are no exposed drop-offs until you reach the summit and look over the edge! More adventurous souls can downclimb the southern peak and climb the north peak from there but that part would be optional!
