road bike: frontside friday: zoo - u - possible city creek loop - March 29, 2013

It's supposed to be 64 degrees at at least partly sunny on Friday. Another great spring day to be on a bike. We can do my Zoo-U loop. It will take us east by the zoo, through the university and along the avenues to the beginning of City Creek Canyon where we will stop to make a decision: if we're feeling ambitious, we can ride up City Creek to the water treatment plant and back (it will add about 7 miles round-trip and 600 hundred feet of climbing); if we're not, we'll just go down through Memory Grove and on south to Artesian Well Park where we can fill our water bottles with delicious, superior water, then head back through Liberty Park. This is a social ride: ride at your own pace but we'll stop to regroup a few times along the way. The pace will be about MOD- or about 12-15mph average.
