farewell to the preserve - road bike ride - May 27, 2013
Today is the last day that the Preserve, the gated community at the top of the hill North of I-80 at Park City, will allow road bikers to grace their streets. Let's say goodbye in style...with a nice final ride through the Preserve, then down to more fun locations in Snyderville Basin and Park City as the group desires. Oh look, it's Mary Gootjes' birthday today as well...how about getting together for lunch at one of the many fine dining locations at Redstone afterwards? It's going to be a lovely Memorial Day: perfect for a ride, farewell, and birthday celebration! To get to Basin Recreation, take the Park City exit off of I-80 (mm145) and go South for only 1 block, where you will turn LEFT at the light and take that Frontage Road about 3 blocks. Go straight through the stop sign and you will be in front of the Basin Rec Building...it's big, you can't miss it!
