hike mt nebo from the north - September 14, 2013
This is a magnificent mountain, with an interesting ridgeline that gets your attention as you approach the North peak of the tri-summit. I rate this as an MSD- because there is some exposure along the ridgeline as you get closer to the North summit, and a steep final scramble to the North peak. This hike will be at a slower pace, about 1000' elevation gain per hour. Time to enjoy one another and all the magnificent mountain views, take pictures, admire the high alpine wildflowers, and generally enjoy your day in the mountains without rushing around. Wilderness area, limit of 10.
