murdock peak dog hike - September 29, 2013
We're aiming for a beautiful fall day with views of the mountains on the ridge between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon. The hike will start from the parking lot at the top of Millcreek Canyon, and we will follow the Old Red Pine Road until it meets up with the Little Water Trail. From the saddle, we'll try to follow the historic trail that leads up to Murdock Peak. Even if we get off trail, the bushwhacking will be mild.
