road bike: alpine loop or timpanogas cave
This is one of my favorite rides but the route has tight hairpin turns and fast downhills, so I'm proposing a few options. We'll ride the Murdock canal trail and then into the Canyon and re-group at Timpanogas Cave. Those wanting a short ride can turn around for a 28 mile ride with 800 ft of climbing, a MOD- ride. The rest of us will continue up to the top and then again decide whether to re-trace our route or to complete the loop, a MOD+ ride. Let's have an early and prompt start, i.e. be ready to ride at 8:45 am. There's limited services on either route so bring plenty of water and a jacket for the downhills.
