Kayaking The Weber River kayaking weber river Ik, Kayak and small raft float. We will be floating the Weber River from Henefer to Taggart 11 mile section. It will take about 2 1/2 hours. We will be floating by Devil's Slide. This stretch is the most popular run on the Weber river. It is mainly a class 1 to 2 stretch with trees and rocks to avoid. There are three technical/rough spots. The first spot is the Rock garden. This is a class 2 section. After the rock garden, we will go under a railroad bridge. We must stay to the right as the left channel has barbed wire and all the debris from construction of the bridges dumped there. Then the last big obstacle is the main rapid before the take-out.
