hike mt nebo from the north - August 9, 2014

At 11,928', Mt Nebo is the highest peak in both Utah County and the Wasatch Mountain Range, surpassing Mt. Timpanogos by 179'. Mt Nebo was likely named after the biblical Mt Nebo in the Old Testament. Hiking pace will be a slower but steady pace. The MSD rating is due to some exposure along the ridge to the summit. There is a wilderness limit, so please call to sign-up and for meeting time.
