stansbury island day hike - March 22, 2014
Donn Seeley found a fun loop hike / scramble with petroglyphs on the southeast corner of the island a couple of years ago. We'll do that hike, or some other moderate, possibly exploratory hike, with a potential for easy scrambling on lovely quartzite rock. The hike will be steep and off-trail, and there may be mud or tumbleweeds to negotiate. The views of the lake are unbeatable from the island, however.
