mt. superior south ridge evening hike - October 9, 2014

Join Lubos after work on this classic alpine ridge scramble in LCC. Enjoy the sunset from the summit and the full moon on the way down. This hike is rated MSD. The elevation gain is about 2800 feet. We need to be at the TH at 5 PM in order to reach the summit before the sunset. Bring headlamp, warm clothing, but go as lite as possible. There is snow up there. The goal is to finish the loop in 3.5 hours. Based on previous hikes it can take up to 5 hours.
