alpine ski tour in west bowl - December 28, 2015
Laps in West Bowl from Alta. We will climb about 3000 feet vertical (less for whoever decides to sit out a lap or more) and we will be in the backcountry for around 5 hours. We will have a plan for the day and will adjust tempo and number of laps according to conditions as well as the group's fitness and enthusiasm. You need to have the backcountry gear and skills necessary for efficient use of your beacon, shovel, and probe.
