alpine ski tour - at, snowboard or telemark - January 22, 2015
THURS. BACKCOUNTRY SKI TOUR: weekly MOD (moderate) ski tours. Destination generally in Big or Little Cottonwoods Canyons. We meet & depart at 8:30 a.m. This is not a beginner ski tour and requires good conditioning, skiing skills and familiarity with your shovel, beacon & probe(level one or two avalanche course) Call or e-mail by 7:00PM on WED. evening, for the meeting place. Group limited to 10. If you are new to BC skiing, please call. We do 4000 ft. of elevation and go out for around six or more hours of skiing. This weeks tour will be lead by Greg Clark.
