November 30, 2015 - foothills flashlight winter hike jacks mountain

Need to work off some of that Thanksgiving feast? There is scientific evidence that working out in that cold (and in the dark?) burns "brown" fat, whatever that is. Come out for a brisk and steep 2-hour outing along the ridge behind the "H" rock. Bring yak trax, micro spikes or other studded footwear. Bring a flashlight and dress in layers. Dogs ok.
