mountaineering champagne couloir (nebo)

An steep mountaineering climb. Experience with crampons, ice ax and self arrest is a must. You will need a helmet with headlamp and Avi gear (beacon probe and shovel) and knowledge of use. Slope angles at the upper portion of the couloir near 70 degrees. The weather and avi conditions will play a role in trip planning and consolidated snow in the couloir is a requirement. The start will be early, in the dark, but normally we finish before 3pm. Please email to register and note that I will be limiting group size. Club members will be given preference.
