snowshoe - big cottonwood canyon - January 23, 2016
East of Solitude there is an old logging road that climbs and turns through very pretty old growth forest before terminating in meadow. The meadow is obvious on Google satellite, east of Willow Lake. I have done it often, about as difficult as Greens Basin in length and altitude change. Starts at lower Solitude parking lot. A pleasant alternative to GB. Good morning "wake up."
