lone peak winter mountaineering

Long day typically involving headlamps, micro spikes, snowshoes, crampons and ice axe during the 12-hour trek. If you have not already climbed Lone Peak do not worry about this trip! The actual execution of this endeavor is very much weather-dependent. Avalanche risks will be factored in. It's a great experience but is not for everyone. I prefer email for registration and contact. Standard avalanche safety equipment (Beacon Shove, probe ) recomended.
