winter fest open house at lodge - February 25, 2017
Plan to attend the WMC Foundation's Winter Fest Open House at the lodge. Happy Hour start at 4:00PM, or as soon as you arrive........ Dinner will begin at 5:00PM.......... $10 donation gets you in the door. We will have appetizers when you arrive....... There will also be a cash bar with wine and beer or bring your own. The Lodge will be providing smoked pulled pork sandwiches, and you are invited to bring a Potluck item to share for dinner. Your dish can be planned around the sandwich item we will have. Bring a main dish, salad, dessert and I even suggest that you bring a vegan or vegetarian. ...................We suggest that you plan for your favorite winter sports activity, get your exercise, then come join us at the WMC Lodge for a warm, fun filled evening of socializing and enjoying the building, music and games................... Stay overnight at the lodge and do another activity on Sunday starting from the lodge. A list of activities can be found online at the WMC website activity calendar................. Then if you don't want to drive down the canyon that night, spend the night for an additional $10. We have beds for the first 20 people. You will need to bring a sleeping bag, sheet and your own pillow. Showers available - bring soap, wash cloth and towel. Plan to bring breakfast food for the morning then go for on a ski or snowshoe tour from the lodge on Sunday................. All revenues from this event will go toward preserving and maintaining the lodge. Think about helping us preserve the lodge for future generations. Begin by joining our roof snow removal work party on Saturday, 9:00AM. Lunch will be provided for those that help. After the work, stay around for the party and do a little socializing................ Please email or Call, if you are planning on coming, so that we have a count for the party and work in the morning. Your call will help us to plan for food and drink.
