changed to bst trailwork project from west grandeur service hike - May 6, 2017

We are changing this service project to support the Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BST). Grandeur cleanup will be rescheduled. Please register through BST with the link below. The Bonneville Shoreline Trail Committee is working on the newest segment of the BST on the western slope of Mount Olympus, connecting the Mt Olympus trail with Heugh's Canyon All trail work days will be from 8am-1pm. Volunteers need to register at www.bonnevilleshorelinetrail.org. Pre-registration is required, all additional location details, instructions & parking information will be emailed to registered participants. Volunteers will be doing trail work, involving removing roots and rocks and clearing vegetation from the trail alignment. Volunteers should bring sturdy boots or shoes, work gloves, long pants, sun protection, and a water bottle. All necessary tools and instruction will be provided. Participants will receive a light breakfast. Participants must be 13 years or older for trail work. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. If you can't make it to this trail work day you can still help out by buying bagels for our volunteers. You can make a donation at www.bonnevilleshorelinetrail.org
