living room evening hike and gary snyder poetry reading - May 8, 2017

The WMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices.
Enjoy a pleasant evening jaunt and experience the poetry of Gary Snyder on the day of his birth. Snyder has been called the Thoreau of the Beat Generation. A number of favorite poems will be available for reading but, feel free to bring a favorite of your own if you desire.

Meeting Place:Colorow Rd. in the University of Utah Research Park, south of Tabby Lane where Colorow goes uphill. This is about 1/4 mile south of the entrance to Red Butte Gardens.
