foothills flashlight winter hike - jack's mountain - November 6, 2017
It is now officially very dark! So we will be hiking under the glitter of the stars and above the glitter of city lights. Come out for a brisk 2-hour outing up and down the steep route along the ridge behind the "H" rock. If there is snow on the foothills, yak trax, micro spikes or other studded footwear will be needed. Bring a flashlight and dress in layers. Dogs ok. It's dark, it's cold, and the trail is not always obvious. So the group will stay together.
