hike -wire mountain - April 15, 2018

Wire Mountain is a good hike for the spring season. Hopefully, there will be wildflowers in bloom. The views of the Central Wasatch Mountains and Foothills are great. Conditions will determine if we go out and back on the the south ridge route or do a Georges Hollow/South Ridge Loop. Depending on the weather this week, we may encounter mud and some snow in the shade. I recommend bringing traction devices in addition to the 10 Es. This is not a long hike, but has steep sections. Experienced participants that want to do a shorter hike are welcome and can turnaround and go back when they like.
