social-oldtimers/newcomers party, soc presentation, and book/map sale - August 25, 2018

Join the WMC Oldtimer/Newcomers party. Bring in the new members and renew great friendships at the annual WMC Old Timers/Newcomers Party scheduled for Saturday, August 25th, at the WMC Lodge at Brighton. The evening will include a brief General Membership Meeting, and a presentation by Luke Golden with Save Our Canyons. Luke is working on a Wilderness Education Program that he would like the WMC to be part of. Dinner will be potluck, so come prepared with a hot dish, salad, dessert, or something else to put on the table. BYOB. Coals will be started at 4:30pm and be available at 5:30pm for anyone bringing food for the grill. Socializing starts at 5:00pm, dinner will be at 5:45pm, the annual group photo at 6:30pm, followed by the General Membership Meeting and our featured speaker. After the meeting, stick around for games, socializing, and getting to know your fellow WMC members.
