break into the backcountry location tbd - December 16, 2018
Have you got your shiny new gear and have taken Avy 101 and now want to get out and try them out? Well, maybe let's not try an avalanche out. Expect a shake down shake out easy tour location pending snow conditions. I am planning an early start as the backcountry is getting pretty crowded. We will put in 1000-1500' vertical and 3-5 miles. I will share what I bring in my pack and discuss the terrain and topography in terms of ski safety.
