foothills flashlight winter hike - jack's mountain - February 12, 2018
Prompt 6pm departure for a brisk 2-hour outing up and down the steep route along the ridge behind the "H" rock. If there is snow on the foothills, yak trax, micro spikes or other studded footwear will be needed. If there is inversion, will move the hike to Millcreek Canyon. Bring a flashlight and dress in layers. Dogs ok. It's dark, it's cold, and the trail is not always obvious. So the group will stay together. Optional post-hike social at the Bombay House.
