day hike garn canyon - barnard creek

We all enjoy the great trails of the Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, they are fabulous. Have you ever thought of discovering other trails north of the city specifically in the Centerville Mountain Canyons area? I have learned there are over 30 day hikes in the area between North Salt Lake and Farmington and on many of those Indian dwellings can be still discovered, waterfalls, and stunning views of the valley, Antelope island and the Great Salt Lake. This is the first of many hikes Tony and I would like to organize for the Club Members on this side of the valley. With time permitting we will hike the Deuel Creek (2 miles round trip) hike with suggestive views of the valley and The Great Salt Lake. After the hike join us in our backyard for some refreshing watermelon, please RSVP if you'd like to attend. (We live just 3 miles from he trailhead). Hope to see you on the trail!
