day hike - ridge run from brighton to days fork down to spruce campground - July 24, 2019
This will be a Day Hike starting at Brighton, going up the Lake Mary Trail until we reach the turn off to the Twin Lake Reservoir. We traverse west beneath the Twin Lake Reservoir, climbing up the trail to Twin Lakes Pass. From there we will traverse west along the historic pipeline trail over to East Bowl Pass of Silver fork. Climbing along the Emma Ridge, where we will have views of both Big and Little Cottonwood, until we reach the West Bowl of Silver fork. From the bowl we cross through a pass which takes us down into Days Fork. The Days Fork trail will take us down the canyon to the Spruces Campground at Mill D South. The trip will require a shuttle back up to the parking lot at Brighton.
